Losing Weight with Pen and Paper

Everyone want to lose weight. I think weight loss is simple. Because I have lose 40 ibs in a month, just use pen and paper.

I write what food I eat each day. Food diary is an important tool for finding problem foods. From the food diary I know what calorie and fat I have eat, then I’ll reduce calorie and fat intake. From the food diary I know red meat, fast food and junk food is bad. Because those food are high in calories, fat, toxins and cholesterol. So I chance my eating habit. I eat fruit, vegetable, bean, fish and chicken daily. Because those foods can provide enough vitamins, protein and dietary fiber. From the food diary I know small meal is better than large meal, it’s great to control my food cravings.

How to Write a food diary?

To find foods that may be causing allergic or digestive symptoms, record the following information:

  • What foods you eat
  • Portion sizes of each food
  • After eating food, how long you feel hungry
  • When is the time you eat
  • How many meals a day
