I’m not a big fans of vegan diet. I eat fruit and vegetables everyday, also I put meat and dairy in my month. I think vegan diet is good for health and weight loss, but you cannot get enough protein from vegan diet.
Alicia Silverstone wrote a new book “The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet”. She try to tell people how great is eating vegetable instead of meat. She want every body just like her becoming a vegetarian.
Oh, take a look at The Kind Diet book. You will see how great her body is. I think Alicia Silverstone’s book is ok for woman. But I wouldn’t suggest a man read her book and follow her advise. Because there isn’t any protein food in her food list. You will be skinny if you follow her advise.
I even don’t think Alicia Silverstone do any workout, because her diet plan is enough for keep nice body. So I don’t see any exercise plan in her book.
Also Alicia Silverstone tell people to order vegetable from Farmer’s Market. She think order vegetable from supermarket is really expensive. She said that she spend $40 to $60 a week on vegetable and feed her husband.
